One task, a clear handoff
A useful prompt states the goal, allowed files, acceptance checks and spending limit. The buttons below open the visible text in another tool; they do not copy your repository, account login or private run history. Read the text before sending it. External tools have their own accounts, permissions and charges.
What the links can and cannot do
Codex, Claude Code and Cursor document links that prefill a prompt. A desktop link needs an installed and registered application handler on the device where you click. As of 2026-10-24, Lovable documents unsent prompt links and ignores the old autosubmit=true parameter. Web application behavior can change or require login; copying the prompt remains the fallback.
URL text may appear in browser history and is transmitted to the chosen destination. Do not put passwords, API keys, private source code or personal customer data in a share link. For a private task, use the authenticated workspace or copy a carefully reviewed prompt into your trusted tool.
For ChatGPT and Claude on the web, these buttons copy the visible prompt and open a blank destination. Paste and review it yourself. This avoids relying on an undocumented prefill or immediate-submission behavior.
