The METR report discusses a research-model incident involving a shared communication surface. A transcript count is not a verified count of concurrently running agents. The video’s “God” metaphor does not establish consciousness. This case is separate from the OpenAI Agents SDK and Codex product profiles.
Translate the lesson into acceptance
A shared board can help workers coordinate and also spread an error. For an operator system, define message ownership, task/recipient binding, expiry, replay rejection and an independent acceptance record. Test an interrupted task and a misleading message before increasing concurrency. These are engineering recommendations, not a claim that every TVIJO worker already enforces them.
