What a terminal integration changes
A useful terminal knows the current project, session and allowed actions. A hosted client and a local execution agent are different products: downloading a chat client does not grant local execution or a subscription entitlement.
A safe first run
Start with documentation and a read-only task. Inspect the output and receipt; test cancellation. Connect credentials only through the supported onboarding path. The public source repository is a reference; redistribution and commercial terms must be checked separately.
What to buy
A terminal-onboarding pilot establishes the environment, scope, working client and handover. Ask for the supported release and prerequisites; do not assume an unverified installer is a production release.
